MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
Tonight's game between the Jackals and the Wings is the third meeting in the last four days and the final matchup in Elmira this season. The Jackals will visit Kalamazoo on New Year's Eve and January 2nd to conclude the season series. Tonight marks the rubber match as the Jackals were victorious on Wednesday 4-1 and then fell in a stunning defeat 3-2 last night. Mark Bennett scored his third goal of the year and Jacob MacDonald scored a shorthanded goal for the second consecutive game, but David Gilbert's goal with 10 seconds left lifted the Wings past the Jackals. The tough luck loss ended the Jackals' three-game winning streak, which tied a season-long.
